Consultation to Schools, and Parents and Gifted Children's Organisations

I can be consulted by Australian school administrations, principals and teachers on issues relating
to provision for individual gifted children within the school, especially highly gifted children, the
development of programs for gifted children, and the development of programs teaching
effective "power" study skills, both for students in general, and for gifted children who,
surprisingly, often don't develop these skills naturally and may not be able to achieve the
high marks they are capable of.

Schools:

Principals and teachers are becoming increasingly aware that gifted children have special needs
in the Australian Education system, and many want to make the best provision possible for their
gifted students, within the resources and options available to them.
I am available for consultation with schools, for analysis of an individual class or student situation,
for consultation on the presentation of extension or enrichment courses, or special occasions such
as Gifted Children's Focus Days, Weekends, or camps.  I am also available to give staff workshops
on gifted issues and practical options within the normal classroom.
School staff members can submit questions, problems or issues beforehand so that workshops
are designed to meet the needs of the specific school situation.

Parent and Gifted Children's Organisations:

I am available as a speaker or workshop facilitator, again with the focus of addressing the
practical interests, needs, or concerns of the individual members of the group.

Consulation Rates:

Consultation to Education Departments or school administrations, AUS $125.00 per hour, or by contract negotiation.

Speaker and workshop presentations:   by negotiation.
